Anniversary in Hatchers Pass, Alaska: Lex + Stephen

This was THE ABSOLUTE rainiest photoshoot of my life. It was more like a downpour…and it was cold…and windy…and did I mention rainy? I mean you’ll clearly see in the third photo how fast the rain came down.

BUT - that didn’t stop us from having THE BEST TIME. There’s something so freeing about the rain, all of a sudden you just forget about everything. Having cute hair or perfect makeup just isn’t something you think about when you’re running around in the cold.

Hatchers Pass in Alaska is truly one of my top 3 favorite spots in the whole world. My husband, Matt, and I even did a little vow renewal/anniversary shoot there. They look completely different in the rain and sunshine, but each just as beautiful in their own way.
