The Family
Experience
To me, it’s the little, natural, personal moments that speak the loudest and last the longest.
I want the times we spend together to reflect your own life so that you can look back on them in 50 years and feel those same emotions. My philosophy and approach to photography is pretty simple and therefore, it’s actually fun.
My Approach
-
Childhood is messy and exciting and unpredictable. My sessions follow suit.
As parents, it’s normal to feel nervous about how your kids will perform or behave. This isn’t the time for that. Our session is a time for giggles and messy hair, for running fast or falling down, for tickles and kisses and giant hugs. It’s not a time for apologies or nervousness. Let hem be wild and let yourself enjoy a moment of vulnerability with your babies.
-
Leave the dishes. Leave the laundry. Leave the toys in the yard. Let’s document life as it is.
-
Storybooks before bed, bath time with siblings, dog snuggles, gardening, baking bread, hanging clothes on the line, playing in the nursery, running wild outside…all these moments are worthy of remembering. One day, when your baby is a teenager and uninterested in the same activities or off to college and far away, these moments will transport you back in time. These moments are magic.
