Winter Wedding at Sage Lodge

Carly and James had to cancel their original wedding plans due to COVID. Committed to getting married in 2020, they had to rework everything - they picked an entirely date and new venue and ran with it. Despite the quick timeline and numerous trials along the way, they managed to create an intentional, safe, emotional, and beautiful day among the Montana mountains with their family by their side.

True to a Montana winter, it was snowing, windy and COLD leading up to the wedding. However, the slush dried up and the sunshine came out just in time for their ceremony. It was barely 25 degrees and gorgeous on their wedding day. You’d never guess it was stormy and freezing the days before.

I loved how intentional and intimate their wedding was. The ceremony and reception space inside Sage Lodge was classy and elegant in every way. The custom menu was absolutely incredible and perfect for their small gathering. It’s no question the Sage Lodge is one of the best venues in Montana.
